EGM's beliefs are based on historic evangelical Christianity:

1. - The Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.
2. - God exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
3. - Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man; born of a virgin, lived sinlessly, died to atone for sins, rose bodily, ascended to heaven, and mediates for believers.
4. - Humanity is fallen and needs regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation.
5. - Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
6. - The Holy Spirit indwells believers, sanctifying and empowering them for godly living and service.
7. - The Church is the Body of Christ and practices worship, baptism, and the Lord’s Supper.
8. - Believers look forward to the bodily resurrection, final judgment, and the second coming of Christ.
